We are one of only a few shops to feature Madeline Tosh’s new yarn – chunky – it just arrived yesterday with all of her other gorgeous handpainted machine washable delights!!

Some of you have heard that the new Malabrigo is here!!  Oh – the boxes and oh so much fun opening and seeing and feeling all the delicious fibers and colors!!  Rasta, their latest is just gorgeous and so perfect for all of new coat and sweater patterns!  Twist, sock, silky merino – all of it!!!

Rowan just arrived and they have introduced some beautiful new yarns and their patterns are the best yet!

Berroco keeps hitting homeruns!  New is Borealis, and Blackstone or Vintage chunky – oh my!!

We have new patterns from whimiscal Little Knits, West, and Churchmouse yarns….plus other favorites from Ravelry, etc

We have also introduced new fabrics and some great sewing classes for beginner and up projects.  Try the 2 hour skirt class!  Or pj’s!    Unbelievable what you can accomplish and learn with a little help and 2 hrs!!   sign up for a 1:1 session to work on any sewing project!

Be sure to include what kind of yarn, fabric, or other materials you used, and feel free to link to your website or ravelry account so we can read all about your process!

Not comfortable taking photos and interacting with flickr?  Let us do it for you!  Through Thursday June 17th, drop by the shop with your project.  We’ll take your picture, write down the relevant details, and add your image to the group within a few days.

We’re all settled in, we’re open, and we can’t wait to show you around!  In fact, we’ve put together this little video tour for you.

…the shop looks like this – and this is just part of the ground floor.  We didn’t even photograph upstairs yet!

It’s still a work in progress, but it’s shaping up so nicely.  We’re getting excited to open the doors on June 1st, and show you the rest of the rooms!!

We’ve painted, redone floors and carpeted, the electrician is finishing and rooms are starting to take shape!!

This is the last week to take advantage of fantastic savings as we pack up and move!  We added to the 50% off bins out on the porch and more yarns are 20% and 30% off inside.  Samples are unbelievably reduced!  Try them on – get them as gifts.  They are handknit or crocheted (just not by you!).  Don’t forget to  Stop by to get your coupon for June shopping in the new store!

The shop will be closed May 24^th thru 31^st – you can still call if you need something and we will still have appts avail for one on ones, but not drop in help or open knitting for that week..  thank you for your patience as we move and get set up for June 1^st opening in our new home.

We will have self help group this tues 5/18^th 5 -7 instead of next week.  Open knitting is on this Thursday 7-9.

****Less than a week to go til we close this adorable shop and get ready to move to more space in an adorable cottage.  As excited as we are with the new place, we want to mention all the wonderful memories and fun we have had here in our “parlor”    Thank you all for being a part of it!!

It will be infomative and fun..
